Jaywick Beach, Suffolk, UK
Afternoon all,
This is an update from a few weeks ago when the missus and myself + the dog went to the beach at Jaywick, just south of Clacton. It was nice weather and it looked like this might be the last nice sunday of the season so we nipped down ther.
This is Jackie with the mutt walking along the beach towards Clacton. The weather was stunning, nice and warm and sunny.
When we stopped for a break and a pint or two the dog decided that he quite liked the icecream my wife was eating. So he launched himself, slobbered all over it and that way ensured he got the whole thing. He ate the whole thing including the biscuit thingy...
These seagulls were hovering on the off chance that he would leave some but no such luck, he had it all...
There were quite a few kite surfers out but to me that looked far too cold to be doing at this time of year. The water isn't much more than 15 degrees... brrrrrr....
All in all a nice day was had by all and by evening everybody was knackered from the fresh sea air.
At the moment I am in England and will be here for another week and a half. Blimey, the longest I have been in country for a long time... Off to Indonesia in two weeks time. Two weeks to do in Jakarta, should be fun.
Cheerio, Alex.
