Free Veg!!!

Afternoon!

We have gone all green in Cornard. Jackie and myself have turned our hands at growing our own vegetables. Not because its cheaper but mainly because its easy and it tastes great!

This was a month ago. Its a tub of mixed lettuce. There's lambs lettuce, pak choi, Mizuna leaves, Rocket, loadsa varieties... Here it has just popped up.

These are the first of the potatoes popping up...

We have a tub of coriander which is growing quite slow but when it is full size should supply us with loadsa fresh herbs...

This is a tub of spring onions...

That's another pot of mixed salad leaves. Nothing is ready to eat on these pics, but as you will see from the next entry, things have grown somewhat... We only did this a bit of a laugh but sofar it has gone really well and is very very easy... We have done it all in pots for these reasons... If it doesn't grow we can use the pot to put flowers in... Secondly I don't wonna dig up my garden for a vegetable patch... Too much work for me... I'm lazy....
